1969 - Built with 100 guest rooms, restaurant and lounge and outdoor pool
1974 - Addition done to add 3,000 sq. ft. of banquet space
1989 - Addition done to add indoor pool, whirlpool and additional restrooms
2002 - New sign installed by Graphic House
2002 - A storage room was remodeled and made into an extended stay suite
2002 - The Lounge was remodeled and expanded to 3 times it's original size
2003 - Addition done to add 4,998 sq. ft. of banquet space, new lobby, new offices and 2 large restrooms
2004 - Two large storage rooms where turned into whirlpool suites
2004 - A storage room was turned into an exercise room
2004 - Parking lot completely redone with 6 light poles put in
2005 - A shed was constructed in the back of the building
The property was originally a Holiday Inn. It then changed to Knight Inn, followed by Marshfield Innkeeper. It was then changed into a Best Western in 1992, doing business as Best Western Marshfield Innkeeper. In 2002 the hotel name was changed to Best Western Clearwaters Hotel & Convention Center. In 2003, the restaurant and lounge were named Clearwaters Restaurant and Atlantis Lounge. In 2007, the Best Western chain was dropped and the new name became Clearwaters Hotel & Convention Center.
