Built in 1979 and opened in 1980, the course is 6500+ yards with outstanding landscaping, mountain streams and falls that interact with 13 of the 18 holes.
The signature hole, number eight, features a falls that cascades over 100 feet parallel to the fairway. Many rate this Par Three as the most beautiful golf hole in the region.
The course is par 72 with a rating of 69.9 and a slope of 118. The terrain is rolling, and the small greens are sloped. The narrow fairways make shot accuracy a must. Grass on the greens and fairways is Bermuda.
In 2003, the course was voted the best golf course in the region by a large news poll. The course is a target course with several dogleg holes. Distance alone will not win. The course is a fun course with four tee locations that make the course playable by all levels of skill.
