The already acquired property for the construction of ERFOLGSGUT Selfness Resort is an impressive land of 1.250 hectares surface. Beginning on about 800 meters height is stretches along 6 kilometres length and 2 kilometres width, over a ridge of 1.600 meters height till the lagoon at the foot of the volcano Tolhuaca at 1.200 meters height. The approximately 70 hectares big lagoon corresponds as private property to the entire complex. The land is characterized by the Araucaria trees that are unique in the world, up to 800 years old, protected, composing here an enormous forest in the valley of the lagoon. Surrounded by the volcanoes Tolhuaca, Lonquimay and Llaima just as the Sierra Nevada and the mountains of the Andes, here exists a special climate with hot summers and dry winters full of snow.
The centrepiece of the property, the Laguna Blanca, is rich in fish and is fed the whole year around by the melt water of the volcano. The vegetation is very extensive and the exploration can be done by feet, by horse or by jeep.
Thanks to a very good infrastructure of the surrounding area, the parted property can be reached and accessed very well. The connection to the international route only 20 kilometres away, that also leads directly to Argentina, means a very central position within this region and promises a high confluence of tourists.
Basic offers of a Resort
Sports and adventure – including trekking through the unique natural area, ascents of volcanoes and mountains, mountain bike-tours, nature explorations and Nordic Walking just as in the winter cross country- and downhill skiing and snow expeditions. A diverse sports programme with tennis, bow and arrow, ice skating and a lot more is at disposition for the guest.
Culture and relaxation – discourses, poetry readings, discussions, obviously also musical events, for example at the lagoon.
The culture of original inhabitants of southern Chile is also part of the offer. The guests find relaxation during classes for creativity, during paintings, making music or naturally during applications like massages and trainings like Yoga and Tai-Chi.
