New Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Town Center Appoints Tellie Baltes As Director Of Sales

McLean, Virginia – July 7, 2003 - Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announces the appointment of Tellie A. Baltes as Director of Sales for the new 176-room Hilton Garden Inn under development at the Town Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The hotel is scheduled to open in November 2003.

Ms. Baltes joins Crestline from the Hilton Garden Inn in Williamsburg, Virginia where she held the position of Director of Sales. She brings over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry and higher education administration to her new role. In March 2003, the Hilton Hotels Corporation honored Ms. Baltes as the “Director of Sales of the Year” for Hilton Garden Inn. Originally from the Tidewater area, Tellie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. She also attained her Master’s degree in Tourism Administration from the George Washington University School of Business in Washington, DC. Dave Durbin, President & CEO of Crestline Hotels & Resorts said, “We’re very excited to be involved with this hotel project and to have Tellie on our team. Her experience and knowledge of the Tidewater area will be an enormous asset to our pre-opening sales efforts.”
